The Challenge financing instrument aims to drive forward research by bringing scientific and industrial stakeholders together around a single issue.
The ROSE Challenge is jointly funded by the French Ministries of Agriculture and Ecological Transition, via the French Biodiversity Agency (AFB), and the Ministry of Research, via the French National Research Agency (ANR). The challenge is organised by LNE and Irstea.
Four research teams are focusing on intra-row weed control in field vegetable crops and widely spaced large-scale crops.
